About This Blend

Our black aromatic blends, comprised of the highest quality Ceylon black tealeaves, are scented with the essential oils of natural ingredients -- in this case, cassis. These oils are added after the leaves have been fully oxidized and dried, complementing the distinctive taste of blackcurrant tea with their characteristic flavors.

Ceylon is a black tea from Sri Lanka. The country Sri Lanka was once referred to as Ceylon.

Like all tea, black tea can be drunk whenever one sees fit. That being said, due to the high caffeine content associated with this tea type we recommend consuming this tea in the morning or early afternoon. Ceylon black tea is a perfect afternoon pick me up.

TEALEAVES Ceylons have a palate experience that is exquisite, lively, and brisk.
