Sensuous pleasures await, whispers the night. Dewy pearls of soft, heady jasmine gently tease the mind while the opulence of a tender heart draws a warm embrace.

About This Blend

Picked during the heat of the day when the jasmine flowers are tightly closed, the tea is then 'perfumed' in the cool of the evening as the flowers open, releasing their intoxicating fragrance. The blossoms, in close proximity to the drying tea leaves, absorb the scent in a process repeated up to seven times, creating the most prized jasmine teas like this Jasmine Pearl. This luxury tea for connoisseurs is soft, floral and sweet—the pinnacle of the Imperial Scenting Method. Then, the rolling technique is used to create aesthetic pearls - nestling the gentle scent in the leaves, slowing down the oxidation process. Art & Beauty in every teacup. For the best experience, brew with fresh, cold water (preferably reverse osmosis, low-mineral) with high oxygen content. Enjoy in the morning when your palate is fully awake. The Imperial Scenting Method is one of the most significant techniques in the ancient tea world. Explore our expert iterations of this method, in our smoked teas (BC Forestea) and successive vintages of French oak barrel-aged experiments in collaboration with Rudd Estate Winery (2014, 2024).

Your FAQs, Answered
For Jasmine Pearl

White tea should be steeped for 3 minutes at a temperature of 180°F or 89°C.

White tea is traditionally grown in China and is only harvested for a few days each year before the Spring rain starts. This is when the silver downy hairs appear on the young unopened buds of the tea plant, hand picked for their freshness and delicate nature.

White tea is what we like to call a self-drinker. It should be served plain with no additions, to preserve the delicate palate it presents.
