A canopy's speckling light flashes feather red, orange and aubergine. A confident call rings out on a dappled, forest floor. Good fortune stirs.

About This Blend

Orange Pekoe is a term used in the grading of black tea made in the orthodox method. It has nothing to do with the quality of the tea, nor does it refer to any orange flavor or color. In the market, many teas are labeled "Orange Pekoe" just because of the catchy name, leading to further misunderstanding among customers. The term 'Orange' originates from the Dutch Royal House of Orange-Nassau, while 'Pekoe' is a Chinese word describing the spring buds of the tea bush which are covered with 'down.'
